Design and prototyping
We offer custom design services which include close liaison with the customer to produce a prototype. We can then take this prototype through to manufacture. We also have 3D printing capability for quick, low-cost visualisation of prototypes.
Simulation
During the prototyping process the use of FEA (Finite Element Analysis) can greatly save on prototyping costs by evaluating both the structural strength of components and assemblies as well as allowing for changes in material grades. This can reduce the amount of real-world testing involved in taking a product from concept to reality as well as highlighting possible areas of high stress which may lead to product failure.
CAD &CAM
We are experts in the use of AutoDesk software for both CAD and CAM. We are capable of producing 2D technical drawings as well as 3D solid models in a range of formats to suit your specific requirements. Where aesthetics are important we are able to optimise machine toolpaths to ensure that you get the very best looking parts possible.
CNC Machining
We have state of the art multi-axis CNC capabilities able to produce parts up to 1250 by 700 by 500mm and possibly larger depending on your specific requirements - contact us for more details.
We can work to exacting tolerances and produce high-quality surface finishes to ensure that you get the product you need. We achieve this through our years of experience and the use of high-quality work holding and tooling.

In addition to our design and engineering skills we also have a strong scientific and technical background which allows us to add value particularly in the design and prototyping stages of many projects. For example, we are able to advise on chemical compatibility issues and seal design.
